ELLISVILLE – The 11th-ranked Jones College women's tennis team dispatched Southwest and No. 22 Itawamba, 5-0 and 5-0, to advance to its third consecutive NJCAA Region 23 Championship on Sunday.
They'll face familiar foe and rival No. 12 Gulf Coast at 10 a.m. Sunday with the winner getting the automatic berth to the NJCAA National Tournament in Tyler, Texas.
Jones improved to 21-3 overall, its third straight 20-win campaign.

Johnson picked up Jones' fourth point with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Mary Elizabeth Kuntz at No. 2 singles and Salter clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Elise Gillissie at No. 5.

The Bobcats did not drop a set as they cruised to three, 8-0 wins in doubles.
Johnson won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 over Kaitlyn Greenwood and Anderson clinched the fifth point at No. 6 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Maggie Franks.
