ELLISVILLE – It's another historic event for Jones College cheerleading.
All 11 sophomores off the 2021-22 squad have signed scholarships with senior colleges
"It is the first time in program history to send all 11 sophomores to a school that cheers or competes at the NCAA Division I level," Jones College cheer coach
Kayla Hankins said. "I'm so proud of each athlete for continuing their academic and athletics at their next school. Each will graduate and continue to strive for excellence at the next program."
Three Bobcats are headed to Ole Miss:
Azlyn Dollar,
Joy Nicole Fendley and
Mollie Potter. Signing with Morehead State are
Lily Baker and
Julian Melancon, while
Lance Kidd and
Max Housman inked with Western Kentucky and
Jathan Watson and
Xavius Jones are headed to South Florida.
Madelyn Pace signed with Mississippi State and
Cole Dueitt signed with West Georgia.
Jones College has won the past two Open Coed Championships at UCA Nationals.
