MARIANNA, Fla. – What was a one-point Bobcat lead at the half turned into a rout as No. 15 Jones closed out a three-game road swing with a 93-70 win over Chipola.

Jones closes out the semester 8-3 and will open MACCC play Thursday, January 5 at Meridian. Chipola fell to 6-7.

Sakyia White's 27 points, Meloney Thames' 24 and En'Dya Buford's 21-9-5 paced the Bobcats' second-best shooting performance of the season. Carly Keats added 11 points and eight rebounds.

The Bobcats shot 52 percent against 41 percent for Chipola who had five players in double figures.

Jones led 67-57 after three quarters and doubled up the Indians in the fourth quarter.
