KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jones College women's soccer placed three of its players on the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Teams, as announced by the organization late Tuesday.
Sophomore forwards
Kendyl Terrell and
Zylah Mulligan as well as sophomore defender
Jordan Smith were slotted on the team.
The trio helped Jones to its highest ranking in program history by the NJCAA, reaching No. 2 for the final month of the season.
Terrell closes her Bobcat career with 31 career goals, including eight game-winners, and 15 career assists.
Mulligan added 12 goals and 10 assists in 20 career starts for the Maroon and Gold.
Smith started all 33 career games for the Bobcats on the back line, helping JC to 22 shutouts.
Midfielder
Acacia Rodriguez was voted to another all-region team as well for Jones, making the NJCAA's Region 23 Team.
Jones made its first two national tournament appearances in program history under the trio and led the Bobcats to fall 2021 conference and region titles.
All three will now be up for United Soccer Coaches All-American honors which will be released in the coming weeks.
