Knight's 68-foot buzzer beater highlights double digit road win

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. – Olivia Knight drilled a 68-foot buzzer beater – #6 on ESPN'S SC Top 10 Plays – to end the first half, and No. 3 Jones rallied from an early nine-point deficit to defeat No. 10 ASU Mid-South 72-56.

Jones improved to 3-0 on the young season, while the Greyhounds fell to 3-4.

The Greyhounds jumped out to a 19-10 lead after one quarter, but the Bobcats quickly chipped away and trailed 34-32 at the half.

The second half belonged to the Bobcats after making some halftime adjustments.

Jones outscored ASU Mid-South 40-22 the final 20 minutes to pick up an impressive NJCAA Top 10 road victory.

Auburn signee JaKayla Johnson scored 25 points to lead all scorers, the eighth 20-point game of her career. Knight added 18, including the three-pointer to end the first half, and Janai Mason had a career-high 11 points to go along with three boards.

The Bobcats shot 47 percent from the floor, but just 13-of-24 from the charity stripe.

Aaliyah Lee had 17 to lead the Greyhounds.

Jones returns home two weeks from tonight as they host Meridian (3-3) in the conference-opener for both teams.
