ELLISVILLE – The Jones County Junior College Lady Bobcats continue to dominate their opponents early in the season.
JCJC annihilated Baton Rouge Community College (Louisiana) 96-46 here Tuesday night at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.
The Lady Bobcats are now 3-0 on the season, posting victories by 40, 48 and 50 points.
Baton Rouge falls to 1-5.
JCJC placed four players in double figures, led by
K.K. Tassin's (Terry) 18 points.
Tatyana Lofton (Madison-Ridgeland Academy) added 17 points,
Myyah West (Prentiss) added 15 points and 10 rebounds and
Nique Cherry (Heidelberg) had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
JCJC led 32-11 after the first quarter, 52-25 at halftime and 81-36 after three quarters.
Rhomlya Tate had 13 for the Lady Bears.
The Lady Bobcats will host Itawamba at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
BRCC hosts Bossier Parish Community College (Louisiana) on Saturday.
