High School: Played for head coach Kade Keowen at East Ascension (La.)...All-Parish his junior and senior seasons and two-time All-District 5-5A...a .340 lifetime hitter with a .525 on-base percentage...hit .364 as a senior with five doubles and four triples and .337 with nine doubles, three home runs, 25 RBIs and 25 runs scored as a junior...also made 10 starts on the mound and went 5-4 with more than 35 innings pitched.
