Previous School: Spent the last three seasons at Hinds...hit .297 in 57 starts last season for the Eagles with 12 doubles, three triples, a home run, 36 RBIs and 14 stolen bases...was 2-2 with a 6.68 ERA in 13 appearances as a true freshman (2022), striking out 35 in 33.2 innings.

High School: Played for head coach K.K. Aldridge at Northwest Rankin...helped the Cougars to a 34-3 record and MHSAA 6A state runner-up finish as a senior...hit .395 with 11 doubles, two triples, 31 RBIs and 17 stolen bases to earn all-district, all-region and all-state honors.

Personal: Son of Tim and Patience Ainsworth...has a brother, Chase...studying business...born September 3, 2003.
