Jonathan Nevol

Jonathan Nevol is in his second year as an assistant coach at Jones County Junior College.

His expertise in scouting and analyzing opponents as well as breaking down game film will be a tremendous asset to the Bobcat program. Nevol returns to Jones after spending four months as an assistant coach here in 2014.

Prior to rejoining the Bobcats' staff, Nevol served the previous two years as the Video Coordinator for Ole Miss. As Video Coordinator, the Rebels went 41-25 including a bid to the 2015 NCAA Tournament. 

Before coming to JCJC in 2014, he spent two years as a graduate assistant on Andy Kennedy’s staff at Ole Miss.  In those two years, Nevol helped the Rebels to the 2013 SEC Tournament Championship and the Rebels’ first bid to the NCAA Tournament since 2002. Nevol also spent four years as a student manager at Ole Miss, helping the Rebels to three postseason appearances and the 2010 SEC Western Division Championship.

Nevol is a 2008 graduate of Water Valley High School in Water Valley, Mississippi, where he was a three-year letterman and was named All-District in his senior year. Nevol earned his bachelors of science in criminal justice from Ole Miss in 2012 and finished his masters in criminal justice from the University of Mississippi in May 2014. 

Nevol has one child, his son Grayson.
