Cameron Murray (RE)

Cameron Murray brings knowledge of the MACJC to the Bobcat coaching staff where he will be the assistant secondary coach.
Before spending last summer coaching linebackers at Auburn University camps, Murray was the Recruiting Coordinator and Linebackers coach at Pearl River Community College for a season. He also spent a summer coaching defensive backs at the University of Florida Football Camps. Prior to Pearl River, Murray spent one season as the Defensive Ends and Linebackers coach at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. 
 
Murray is no stranger to success on the field. He spent his collegiate playing days at Iowa State University where he was a part of the 2009 Insight.com Bowl Victory, Delta State University (2010) where the Fighting Okra would win the 2010 Gulf South Conference and become the national runnerups, and Copiah-Lincoln Community College where he helped the Wolves win the 2006 Golden Isle Bowl as well as compete for a state championship. Murray also contributed to his 2005 high school team’s (Hazlehurst) undefeated, 3A state championship season where the defense accounted for eight shutouts. 
 
Murray, a native of Hazlehurst, Mississippi, earned his Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Iowa State University in 2011.
