High School: Played for head coach Tyler Jensen at Central Catholic...LABC Class 1A All-State selection as a senior and sophomore and LABC All-Region nod for the Eagles...8-1 with a 2.24 ERA and 102 strikeouts his senior year...named 7-1A All-District First Team...Perfect Game Preseason All-American...18-3 combined record with 208 punchouts over his three high school seasons...four-time LHSAA Academic All-District honors...played travel ball for Team Louisiana.
