High School: Played for head coach Nick Chatham at Greene County...helped the Wildcats to a 22-14 record and third round playoff appearance last season...was 7-3 with a 1.31 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 74.2 innings...threw a no-hitter March 25 against Magee...hit .296 with 21 RBIs...also played football and basketball for the Wildcats.

Personal: Son of Vince and Kelly West...has two older brothers, Hayden (26) and Garrett (21)...younger of his two brothers played football at PRCC...studying education and teaching/coaching...Atlanta Braves fan...born December 19, 2004.
