High School: Played for head coach Ryan Loftin at Columbia...helped the Wildcats to a 23-13 record and MHSAA 4A third round playoff appearance his senior year...a .338 lifetime hitter and posted a 3.19 ERA on the mound in over 140 career innings...a three-time all-district selection and also selected to play in the State Games...also a state champion in football as the team's starting quarterback.

Personal: Son of Shannon and Ryan Loftin and Mindy and Brian Speights...has four siblings, Lizzy, Cayde, Hunt and Sykes...studying agribusiness...born June 7, 2006.
