High School: Played for head coaches Will Hawkins and Joseph Koon at Nettleton...hit .404 with 16 RBIs as a senior...as a junior, was 8-2 with a state-best 121 strikeouts and 1.90 ERA in 70 innings...had three no-hitters – one of those a perfect game – along with seven complete games, five shutouts and a save...hit .422 with 21 RBIs...an all-state selection...2018 D.M.
