Trey Harrington

Trey Harrington enters his second season as an assistant with the Bobcats where he works primarily with infielders.

Evan Rogers (New Orleans), Braden Smith (Georgia Gwinnett) and Brice Ainsworth (Auburn-Montgomery) all inked with four-year programs after his first season.

Harrington joined head coach Wes Thigpen's staff after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at Mississippi College in the summer of 2024.
 
Prior to going to MC, Harrington was the Director of Video and Data Analytics at the University of Memphis. With the Tigers, he was responsible for video editing, data analytics and working with infielders to develop skills through drills and fungo sessions. He also generated reports on defensive strategies and offered hitting insights to help player's approaches at the plate. Harrington also oversaw summer tournaments at FedEx Park and worked with the camp director to plan and executive camp schedules and activities.

Harrington, a Lakeland, Tenn., native played at Southeastern Louisiana from 2018-23. At SLU, he spent his first two seasons as an infielder before transitioning to pitching mostly for his final three seasons. He was a four-time captain for the Lions and helped them to the Southland Conference title and a regional appearance in 2022. He was also selected as a member of the Southland Conference Commissioners Honor Roll in 2018, 2020 and 2023.
 
At Briarcrest Christian High School, he was named a Perfect Game Top 1000 player, a Perfect Game Underclass All-American, was All-State as a senior and was runner-up for Tennessee's Mr. Baseball Award. He also earned All-Region honors in basketball. 
 
He earned his bachelor's in business administration at SLU and completed his master's in sports management at Memphis in 2023.
