High School: Played for head coach Brad Corley at St. Stanislaus...helped the Rock-a-chaws to a 17-11 record as team captain his senior year...MAC Class 3A Second Team All-State nod...excelled at first base and on the mound...led the team with 27 RBIs and won seven games with a 3.45 ERA...honor roll all four years...team went to the Class 3A state championship during his junior year and finished as runner-up.
