ELLISVILLE – Former standout Bobcat goalkeeper Callum Harley will be returning to the Jones College men's soccer program.
 
The Newcastle, England, native brings over 20 years of experience as both a player and coach in elite competitive environments, including a top Premier League club and an NAIA program.

Harley helped Jones to its first two conference titles in program history in 2018 and 2019 and will be joining Brendan Connolly's staff as an assistant coach for the 2026 season.

"We're excited to have Callum back at Jones," Connolly said. "He will be a huge addition to our staff. He has been working hard the past few years with his coaching and knows exactly what it takes to be successful with Jones having won two conference titles here."

Harley posted a 26-9-2 career record between the posts with 211 career saves.

As a freshman in 2018, Harley was named All-MACJC with 14 wins and four shutouts in 18 starts. He capped his Bobcat career in 2019 with 12 wins between the posts and an .820 save percentage, was named MACJC Goalkeeper of the Week four times and grabbed United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Team honors.

Harley will most be remembered for his efforts in the 2019 MACJC championship game. After tying Gulf Coast 2-2 through regulation and overtime, Harley stopped two MGCCC penalty kicks and then drilled the clinching goal to help JC advance 4-3. 
 
After leaving Jones, Harley played at Saginaw Valley State in 2020-21 and at William Carey University in 2022 where he got his bachelor of science in health recreation and physical education and later his master of education in interscholastic administration.

While working with Hattiesburg Futbol Club in a number of different roles, Harley also served on the WCU staff for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He coached freshman Henry Hampshaw to NAIA Third Team All-American honors in his first year working with goalkeepers.

Harley was the Director of Goalkeeping for Orlando City and Orlando Pride–Lake Nona for the past year.
 
Harley replaces Dave Brown, who was recently named head coach at Colorado Northwestern Community College.
