MOORHEAD – No. 6 Jones College swept a pair of games at a gusty Lady Trojan Field Saturday afternoon, defeating Mississippi Delta 15-6 and 15-7 — both in six innings.
Jones improved to 27-6, 6-2 MACCC and will close out a six-game road swing on Tuesday at Southwest.
The Bobcats combined for 30 runs on 32 hits, with 12 different players grabbing at least one.

The Lady Trojans jumped out to a 4-1 lead after one but Jones would wake up the bats to take a run-rule victory in the opener.
Mary Kimble Price's solo homer in the third and
Morgan Taylor's sac fly tied it at 4-4.
Madison Sawyer's two-run double put Jones back in front, 6-4, in the fourth.
A six-run fifth and three-run sixth closed out the run-rule.
Mabry Eason hit a two-run homer and had a two-run double and
Farrah James,
Annaston Tate and
Logan Mansur all added RBI-singles.
Abigail Lindsey (4-0) relieved
Morgan Landry after the first and scattered two earned runs, five strikeouts and a walk to earn the win in the circle.

Eason hit her team-leading 12th home run and James homered twice to set the tone for a two-game sweep.
Jones led 4-0 after one.
A 4-2 game in the third, Mansur tripled to score a pair and Sawyer hit a solo homer in the fourth to extend the lead to 7-2. James hit her second homer in the fifth.
MDCC clawed back within 8-5 in the bottom of the fifth after a Zyah Gunter two-run single and Shamya Williams RBI-single.
Makenzie Houston's RBI-single in the sixth opened up a seven-run frame. James doubled,
Anna Grace Whitehead had an RBI-single,
Marlee Dampeer an RBI-single,
Chloe Jenkins RBI-walk and Eason two-run single.
Gunter hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to make the final 15-7.
Whitehead (2-0) got the win in a complete-game outing, scattering eight hits, three earned runs, six strikeouts and five walks.
