Prior to Jones: A Second Team All-MACCC selection at Mississippi Gulf Coast her freshman year...hit .344 with nine doubles, four home runs and 25 RBIs in 30 games...also scored 20 runs, walked 13 times and stole five bases...named MACCC Player of the Week (4/29).

High School: Played for head coach Blake Gray at Austin (Ala)...as a senior, batted .407 with 20 doubles, six triples, 14 home runs and 63 RBIs and went 19-8 with a 2.92 ERA and 186 strikeouts in the circle...Named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A Second Team and 7A All-State Team her senior year...as a sophomore at West Morgan, named the Decatur Daily's Class 1A-4A Player of the Year for the second time...went 30-16 with a 1.33 ERA and 406 strikeouts in 253 innings...named Alabama Class 4A Pitcher of the Year...as a freshman, batted .326 with six doubles, two triples, three home runs 19 RBIs and went 13-13 with a 1.71 ERA and 233 strikeouts in 159.1 innings.
