NEW ALBANY – No. 9 Jones College began MACCC play with a 9-0 victory over No. 20 Northwest on Friday.
The Bobcats followed that up with a 7-0 win over Rust College on Saturday.
Jones (4-0) will resume conference play on Tuesday at 2 p.m. versus Southwest.

The Bobcats dominated all matches at the Ranger Outdoor Complex.
In No. 1 doubles,
Heidi Clayton (New Albany) and
Theresa Emelio (Australia) beat Laura Camara Blanco and Claudia Lopez Chaparro, 8-1.
Camila Piquín Argentina) and
Maria Martinez (Argentina) defeated Angela Ortiz Sanchez and Margaret Daves in No. 2 doubles, 8-1.
Katlin Porcello (Oak Grove) and
Josie Tullos (Newton County) beat Brooke Kicker and Ava McCain in No. 3 doubles, 8-4.
Clayton whipped Sanchez in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1 and Piquin defeated Chaparro in No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-1. Martinez downed Blanco in No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-4 and Emelio defeated Davis in No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-2. Porcello beat Kicker in No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-3 and Tullos blanked McCain in No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

The Bobcats continued their strong play at BNA Park on Saturday.
Jones captured the doubles point with three victories.
Clayton and Emelio shut out Catherine Ndeko Kimbiyila and Emeline and Honfoga in No. 1 doubles, 6-0, and Piquin and Martinez shut out Felicity McPhee and Conforte Dohami Oudensi in No. 2 doubles, 6-0. Porcello and Tullos won No. 3 doubles by default.
Clayton blanked Kimbiyila in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0 and Piquin whipped Honfoga in No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-2. Porcello defeated McPhee in No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-4 and
Caroline Kilpatrick (Brookhaven) won in No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-0. Jones won No. 5 and No. 6 singles by default.
