Jones to make fifth NJCAA Women's Soccer Tournament appearance

CHARLOTTE – Jones College will be making its fifth all-time NJCAA Women's Soccer Tournament appearance after receiving one of four at-large bids on Tuesday. 

Jones is into the 12-team field as the No. 8 seed in Pool A and will pair up with No. 1 Johnson County and No. 12 UA Cossatot. The winner of the pod advances to the national semifinals.

The Bobcats, 12-5-2, will open play on Monday, Nov. 17 against UA Cossatot at 10 a.m. and will play JCCC Tuesday at 10 a.m.

UA Cossatot enters the tournament 4-6 overall and winners of the Central district. The Cavaliers are 20-0-1 and got a Region 6 at-large bid.

Jones is 8-3-1 all-time in the national tournament, winning the 2023 title and advancing to the semifinals twice.

Oklahoma State signee Sherline King leads the Bobcats in goals (23), assists (eight), points (54) and game-winners (six).
