ELLISVILLE – The Bobcats extended their unbeaten streak to nine matches Friday night with a 1-0 victory over East Central.

Jones has won nine consecutive over EC and has not allowed a goal since Sept. 26, 2018, outscoring the Warriors 30-0 during that span. 

Matt Reed's 15th minute goal from Mario Novaku was all the offense the Bobcats needed.

Jones outshot EC 20-5.

Brax Rials and Joshua Goodwin stopped all three shots they faced for a fifth Bobcat shutout.

Jones goes to Gulf Coast Tuesday, Oct. 7 for a 7 o'clock kickoff.
