CHARLOTTE – Expectations are high again for Jones College softball.
Second-year head coach
Tori Dew's Bobcats are ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA Division II preseason poll.

Last season Jones went 41-15, won the Region 23 championship, finished runner-up in the MACCC, advanced to the Division II World Series and finished No. 4 in the final national ratings.

Jones returns seven position starters from 2024, including
Jayden Sawyer, who set the single-season school record with 29 home runs last season.
The Bobcats open the season play Jan. 31 at Chipola College (Florida). The first home date at Community Bank Park/Gwen Magee Field will be on Feb. 4 vs. Coastal Alabama-South.
