FAYETTE, Ala. – In its first road swing in Alabama with three matches at three different sites in two days, Jones swept Snead State, Gadsden State and Bevill State to go 3-0.
Jones is now 4-0 on the young season.
The Bobcats head to Hanceville, Alabama, Sept. 6-8 and will play six matches over three days as part of a season-long nine-match road trip.
Jones 3, Snead State 1
Jones defeated the Parsons 26-25, 25-23, 15-25 and 25-20 behind a combined 29 kills from
Mamie Fromdahl,
Harmony Jackson and
Ainslee Copeland. Eight different Bobcats in total had at least one kill.
Emily Boudreaux had a season-high 18 digs and
Sara Akins added 11.
Tazi Harris had a team-high 14 kills for Snead State.
Jones 3, Gadsden State 1
Jones held the Cardinals to a .118 attack percentage and won the final two sets, after splitting the first two, to pick up its third win in three matches.
Jackson had a season-best 21 kills.
Jones 3, Bevill State 0
Six Bobcats combined for 10 service aces to help Jones wrap up a 3-0 weekend with a 25-16, 25-18, 25-16 victory.
