SENATOBIA – No. 10 Jones picked up two MACCC victories in a matter of hours at the Ranger Outdoor Complex Thursday afternoon.
Jones dropped Northeast, 7-0, and then host and No. 21 Northwest, 9-0, to improve to 11-0 overall and 6-0 in the MACCC.

Helen Hernandez took care of business at No. 1 doubles, 8-0, and

Ansley Tomkins won 8-3 at No. 2 doubles. Jones won by default at No. 3 doubles to lead the match 3-0.
Jones won No.'s 1-4 singles in straight sets. They did not play No. 5 and 6 due to a lack of Tiger players.
Hernandez won 6-0, 6-0, Housley 6-0, 6-1, Tomkins 6-1, 6-0 and Simmons 6-0, 6-3.
In the second match of the day, it was more of the same in straight sets.

Annalyn Housley won 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.
It was all straight set victories in singles to win it 9-0.
Jones will host No. 13 Wallace State on Saturday, March 9 at 1 p.m. to close out a busy week of matches.
