FULTON – No. 11 Jones responded nicely from its first loss of the season last Saturday by knocking off No. 17 Itawamba 6-3 Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcats improved to 15-1 overall, 9-0 in MACCC play. ICC fell to 6-3, 6-2 in conference play.
Matias Ruiz and
Charlie Brady came from 7-4 down to beat Tasso Moreira / Joan Mateu Ramis at No. 1 doubles, 9-8 (8-6).

Hudson Hans knocked off Cade Teeple/Jacob Jolly to give Jones a 2-1 lead after doubles.
Do fought off two match points at No. 4 singles to defeat Teeple 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (8-6).
Duvan Santiago Torres beat Jack Semper 7-6 (7-1), 6-2 and Ruiz and
Alex Holder both won to clinch the match.
Jones wraps up MACCC play Tuesday, April 3 against No. 23 East Central.
