ELLISVILLE – It was a mismatch from the start.
No. 6 Jones slugged 11 home runs, including nine in game two, to sweep Coahoma 19-2 and 25-1 both in five innings Saturday at Community Bank Park/Gwen Magee Field.
Jones will open a six-game road trip on Tuesday at Gulf Coast, returning home April 9 against East Central.

Fontenot and Chennault added home runs.
Jones scored five in the first, five in the second, two in the third and seven in the fourth.
Leeann Huddleston's solo shot got Coahoma on the board in the second and a wild pitch scored the Tigers' second run in the fifth.
Meg Vinson (3-0) struck out seven over 3.1 and allowed two hits. 
Ava Prejean got the final five outs.

A 12-run third and 10-run fourth blew a 3-0 lead wide open in another run-rule victory.

Gracey Harbour got her first career win in the circle in five innings of work, allowing three hits and one run while striking out seven.
