ELLISVILLE – All 13 Bobcats who touched the floor scored in a 10th straight home victory, 69-47, over Delgado for No. 12 Jones.
Jones improved to 10-2 and dropped the Dolphins to 2-10.
Prior to tipoff, Jones received its 2024 MACCC and NJCAA Region 23 Championship rings after a 27-7 season.
Jones scored the game's first seven points and quickly built a double digit lead.
The Bobcat bench played extended minutes in the second half, getting buckets from
Malik Franklin,
Amillion Buggs,
Kaison Saunders and
DJ Davis among others.
Jones' bench outscored Delgado 27-14 and the Bobcats had a 23-2 edge in fast break points.
Kylan Howze had 12 points, seven boards and five blocks,
Dimp Pernell added 11 points and a career-best 15 boards,
Ky Pernell had eight points and Buggs added seven points and six boards.
Kaydan Joseph and Lionel Larvadian led the Dolphins with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Jones travels to Missouri this weekend to face Three Rivers (Friday) and Mineral Area College (Saturday).
