Sherline King has done it again.
For the second straight game, King (Panama City, Panama) scored four goals and had one assist as No. 7 Jones College crushed East Mississippi 10-0 here Tuesday night.
Scoreless into the 22nd minute, King scored the first goal of the match and the ensuing two in an 8:05 span to quickly make it 3-0. Her fourth came in the 61st minute.
King pushed her season total to 23 goals, which leads the MACCC and is fifth in NJCAA Division II.
Mary Grace Batson (Stone) and
Mary Bradley McCardle (South Jones) each had two goals.
Avery Saulter (Pass Christian) and
Caroline Wilson (Lafayette) each had a goal.
Riley Rolison (Long Beach) had two assists with
Boo Mills (England),
Kerri O'Hara (Ireland),
Jewel Hamilton (East Central) and Wilson adding assists.
Scarlette Roberts (Lake Cormorant) went the distance in goal, had two saves and got the win.
The Bobcats outshot EMCC 37-4, including 25-2 on frame.
Jones, 10-3 overall and 6-3 in the MACCC, travels to Pearl River for a 5 p.m. match on Friday.
East Mississippi drops to 1-11-2 overall, 0-8-1 in conference play.
