Unbeaten streak reaches nine in 2-0 win at Itawamba

FULTON Parker Sellers scored his first collegiate goal, the game-winner in the 47th minute, and Dylan Dykes added his third of the season in No. 10 Jones' 2-0 win at Itawamba Friday afternoon.

The Bobcats remained unbeaten their last nine, improving to 7-2-2 overall, 5-0-2 in MACCC play. ICC dropped to 5-4-3, 3-1-3.

Scoreless at the half, Sellers took a soft Xabier Souto-Rodriguez pass right in front of the net and touched it in for the goal at the 46:28-mark.

Rodriguez assisted on the second goal as well, this one off a corner, that found the foot of Dykes for the goal in the 66th minute.

Brax Rials had three big saves in the opening half to keep it scoreless and recorded his fourth shutout this year.

ICC's William Blake had six of his eight saves in the final 45 minutes.

Jones out-shot ICC 19-9, including 10-4 on goal. The advantage was 12-2 the second half.

The Bobcats continue a four-match road trip on Tuesday at Meridian.
