Hilary Jaén scored 3:19 into the match and the rout was on Tuesday night at Tom Shephard Field against Hinds.
Jones, now 5-0, 2-0 MACCC, won its 14th straight match against the Eagles after losing the first 10 to begin the series. It's also the seventh consecutive shutout victory.
The Bobcats peppered the Hinds goal all night, out-shooting the Eagles 43-0 (27-0 on goal).
Abby Sheriff connected with
Gemma Whitchurch for her first of two goals in the 8th minute. She added her second in the 88th minute.
Sheriff scored in the 16th minute to give Jones a 3-0 halftime advantage.
Celine Ottah,
Caroline Wilson and Whitchurch rounded out the final three second half goals.
Scarlette Roberts got her first collegiate start and was not tested.
Jones travels to East Central Friday, Sept. 22, before returning home Sept. 26 for its first regular season home match.
