RAYMOND – With the top two teams in the conference standings squaring off Tuesday night, scoring chances were at a premium.
Jones had its best opportunity in the 74th minute on
Taylor Richardson's free kick that was punched away at the last minute. Hinds managed just three shots on goal.
Most of the match was played in the midfield, with neither team willing to budge.
The Bobcats, 5-1-2, 1-0-1 MACCC extended their unbeaten streak over Hinds, 4-1-2, to nine matches with the tie.
The final shot tally was 12-6 in favor of Jones. Jones had eight corners against four for the Eagles.
Joshua Goodwin stopped both shots he faced. A third hit the post.
