SUMTER, S.C. – No. 11 Jones College made a successful trip here to the Sumter Juco Invitational here over the weekend.
The Bobcats went 3-0 with wins over Mercer County (New Jersey), No. 19 USC Sumter and Harford (Maryland). The final match vs. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (Georgia) was suspended by facility closure and a lack of lighting at the backup facility.
Jones, 18-2, visits No. 23 East Central Tuesday and No. 17 Meridian on Friday.

Allie Johnson (Hernando) blanked Gwen Guidice and Victoria Woodruff in No. 2 doubles, 8-0. Jones won No. 3 doubles by forfeit.
Tocci won No. 1 singles over Vargas, 6-0, 6-1, and Tovar rallied past Medart in No. 2 singles, 4-6, 6-0, 10-6.
Annalyn Housley (Nettleton) defeated Guidice in No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-0, and
Sophie Endt (Vancleave) downed Woodruff in No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Michaela Anderson (Tupelo) and
Madelyn James (Northeast Jones) won No.'s 5 and 6 singles, respectively, by forfeit.
