CROWLEY, La. – Fifth-ranked Jones dropped a pair of games on a rainy Friday evening at Tony Robichaux Sports Complex, falling 7-3 to Bossier Parish and 3-2 to ninth-ranked LSU Eunice.
Jones, who lost back-to-back games only twice all of last season, moved to 2-2 on the young season.
The schedule doesn't get any easier, with the Bobcats traveling to Gulf Shores next weekend for the Sun Chief Classic against some of NJCAA Division I's best teams.

Carly Lewis and two-run homer for
Kathryn Smith plated Jones' three runs in a game BPCC led from the first inning on.
The Cavs rode the arm of Macie LaRue who struck out 10 and got plenty of run support.
The top four hitters in the Bobcat lineup each had multiple hits in Smith, Lewis,
Nia Luckett and
Lauren Lindsey.
Holly Craft was tagged for six runs in six innings with six strikeouts and a walk.

Maci Baldwin drove home Sara Roussel with an RBI-single in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Bengals to a dramatic victory.
Jones tied the game at 2-2 thanks to a two-out error in the sixth.
Chloe Bennett punched out a dozen Bobcats to stay perfect on the year at 7-0.
Hanna Zeitz scattered three runs on eight hits in 6.1 innings but the Bobcat offense was shutout in six of seven frames.
