Jones held Holmes to 11 first-half points and led by 26 at the half to run away with an 82-41 win Thursday night at Ras Branch Coliseum.
The Bobcats won their ninth straight game to improve to 15-3 overall and 7-0 in the MACCC. Holmes dropped to 11-6, 3-3 in conference play.
Eleven of the 12 Bobcats who touched the floor scored, four finished in double figures and both
Dacia Bostic and
Niya White posted season-highs in points.
Jones outscored Holmes 24-3 in the second quarter.
The Bobcats shot 51 percent on the night behind 10 three-pointers and held Holmes to 30 percent.
Sakyia White led Jones with 18 points and 15 boards,
En'Dya Buford had 13 and
Carly Keats 13.
Meloney Thames tied a career-high with seven assists to go along with her 11 points.
Jones will enjoy a week off before returning home Thursday, Feb. 2 to host Mississippi Delta.
