RIDGELAND – The Bobcats keep on rolling.
Fresh off its highest ranking in program history at No. 2 in the latest NJCAA poll, Jones shutout Holmes on Tuesday, 4-0, to extend its best start in program history at 7-0.
Miguel Magagnin scored off a
Taylor Richardson assist in the 7th minute and that's all the Bobcats needed.
Leighton Jameson scored in the 16th minute off a penalty kick, his third straight match with a penalty goal.
Denim Lombard added his sixth goal in the 49th minute and
Samuel Hadley his first collegiate goal in the 62nd.
Jones owned a 26-8 shot advantage and drew nine corners to Holmes' one.
Tyler Harris had six saves to post his third combined shutout.
The Bobcats return home on Friday to host East Central at 7 p.m.
