Poppy Binding closed out a hat-trick in the 88th minute to help No. 6 Jones stay unbeaten on the young season in a 4-1 win over No. 18 Southwestern Illinois College.
Jones moved to 3-0 while SWIC fell to 1-4-1.
Kirsty Cameron found Binding for the first of her three goals in the 13th minute. Binding would add her second in the 23rd minute.
Izzie Scott gave Jones a 3-0 lead at the break, drilling a penalty kick after drawing a foul in the box.
The Bobcats outshot the Blue Storm 11-1 in the opening 45 minutes and continued their pressure the final half.
Seconds after Jones made a switch in goal, SWIC got on the board in the 65th minute after a long ball into the box found the foot of Maggie Evans.
Jones capped the scoring in the 88th minute.
Leahmae Keogh fed Binding from 30 yards out, who juked twice and scored in the lower right corner.
Makenna Yarrow played the first 59 minutes and
Danae Fowler the final 31 in net.
The final shot tally was 21-3 in favor of the Bobcats.
Jones continues a three-match homestand on Friday, welcoming No. 10 Northwest to Ellisville for a 5 p.m. kick.
