FULTON –
Leahmae Keogh scored for the sixth time in five matches and
Danae Fowler posted a clean sheet to help No. 5 Jones blank Itawamba 1-0 on Friday.
Jones improved to 7-1-1 overall with its 14th consecutive victory over the Indians. ICC fell to 6-6.
Keogh's goal came in the 9th minute on a nice left-footed strike into the upper left corner off a touch from
Caragan Childs.
That's all either offense could muster up and enough for Jones.
ICC managed just one shot in the first half from Julia Benneckenstein as Jones outshot them 17-1. The Bobcats had just four shots on goal.
Jones will return home next Friday to host Gulf Coast at 5 p.m. They'll play three of their final four regular season matches at home.
