Gracie Gustafson scored 7:55 into the match and that's all Jones would need in its fourth consecutive shutout of Gulf Coast Friday night, 3-0.
Jones has now won the last 15 meetings against the Bulldogs in improving to 8-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 in conference play. MGCCC remained winless in MACCC play.
The Bulldogs' lone two shots came in the opening half, with
Makenna Yarrow stopping both.
Leahmae Keogh scored for the third straight match in the 39th minute to make it 2-0 at the half.
Poppy Binding closed it out with an 89th minute goal to make the final 3-0 Bobcats.
Jones outshot MGCCC 27-2, including a 16-2 advantage on net.
Yarrow played the opening 45 minutes in goal for Jones and
Danae Fowler the final 45.
The Bobcats close out their regular season road slate on Tuesday at Co-Lin. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. in Wesson.
