WICHITA, Kan. – Helping the Bobcats to their first-ever win in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament over eventual champion Southeastern (Iowa), freshman Elean Fajardo earned a nod on the all-tournament team.

Fajardo had both goals in the 2-1 win over the Blackhawks, including the golden goal with two seconds left in double overtime. 

The Oak Grove product was outstanding in a 4-1 postseason for ninth-ranked Jones, scoring eight goals – two game-winners – with a pair of assists.

Fajardo ended the year tied for the team lead in goals (10), second in points (24) and third in assists (four).

Jones finished the year 13-4 and won its third consecutive conference championship.
