WESSON – Chris Dempsey netted a pair of goals, including the eventual game-winner nine minutes into the match, as No. 10 Jones defeated Co-Lin 3-0 to close out the regular season. 

Jones' win, coupled with Gulf Coast's win over Pearl River, clinched a home playoff game for the Bobcats next Tuesday, May 18 against Holmes. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

Still just a 1-0 match late into the 80th minute, Adam Lynch and Dempsey scored in a one-minute span to extend the final to 3-0. 

Dempsey's second goal of the match came off an assist from goalkeeper Peyton Wilbanks.

Wilbanks improved to 8-3 and posted his fifth clean sheet of the season with five saves.

Co-Lin's keeper stopped 16 of Jones' 19 shots on goal.
