MERIDIAN – Three goals in the game's first 19 minutes was all Meridian needed to pull off its second Top 10 upset in as many games, defeating No. 8 Jones 3-0 on Friday night.
The Eagles snapped a 14-match losing streak to Jones to improve to 3-3-1 and 2-2-1 in league play. The Bobcats fell to 4-2, 2-2 in the MACCC.
