ELLISVILLE – Scoreless into the 77th minute of action Tuesday night against Southwest,
Tyler Musial picked an opportune time to net his first collegiate goal, heading in a free kick from
Adam Lynch for the game-winner.
Peyton Wilbanks and Jones posted their third clean sheet in four matches, including back-to-back 1-0 wins.
Jones improved to 4-1, 2-1 in the MACCC. Southwest fell to 1-5.
The Bobcats dominated the match from the get-go, but weren't able to score until 13 minutes left. Jones outshot Southwest 22-10 and owned a 9-1 edge in corners.
Wilbanks needed just four saves to improve to 3-1 in net. Abraham Bermudez had three saves in the loss for Southwest.
The Bobcats go to Meridian Friday.
