ELLISVILLE – Fourth-ranked Jones College used a 32-0 run midway through the game and went on to crush Wallace State 90-46 here Thursday night at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.

Missy Bilderback's team.
Jones placed four players in double figures, led by
JaKayla Johnson (Clinton) with 22 points.
Sakyia White (Tuscaloosa, Alabama) added 18 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field with
Olivia Knight (Pearl) and
Arianna Patton (Meridian) scoring 12 points each.
After leading 22-8 after the opening quarter, Jones led 27-19 with 5:50 left in the second quarter.
The Bobcats closed the first half on a 14-0 run with Patton's layup with 18 seconds showing making it 41-19 at halftime.
The onslaught continued in the third quarter. Johnson's layup with 6:53 to play in the third quarter capped the 32-0 run and gave the Bobcats a 51-19 lead. Jones led 68-29 after three quarters.
The Bobcats' largest of the evening came with 2:32 left in the quarter when
Kimaya Dixon (Lafayette) made a free throw to make it 86-37.
Jones made 36-of-68 shots from the floor for 53 percent and 7-of-15 from 3-point range for 47 percent. The Bobcats were 11-of-18 from the free throw line for 61 percent.
The Lions only made 16-of-68 shots for 27 percent and they were 2-of-22 from the 3-point range for nine percent. Wallace State was 8-of-9 from the foul line for 89 percent.
The Bobcats outscored the Lions 25-4 on fast break points and 50-22 on points in the paint.
White had a double-double adding 12 rebounds to her point total.
Nakyah Jones (Mobile, Alabama) led the Bobcats with 15 rebounds and added four blocked shots.
Knight had eight assists and
Mackenzie Thomas (Laurel) had five assists and four steals.
Jones out-rebounded Wallace State, 57-29.
Destiny Garrett had 12 points for the Lions and Kyra Long added 11.
The Bobcats (1-0) will play their next game on Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. vs. Southern Arkansas Tech in Eunice, Louisiana.
Wallace State (1-1) visits Motlow State (Tennessee) on Nov. 8.
