Fajardo puts bow on fantastic Bobcat career with AA honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jones College sophomore forward Elean Fajardo capped off a fantastic two-year career for the Bobcats with a well deserved honor on Wednesday.

The Argentine and Auburn University-Montgomery commit was named a United Soccer Coaches All-American, just the program's second in school history.

Fajardo guided Jones to back-to-back national tournament appearances, 24-7-1 combined record and the program's third straight conference title as a freshman.

An All-MACCC pick as a freshman and NJCAA All-Region 23 selection as a sophomore, Fajardo scored 18 goals, including four game-winners, and added 14 career assists for 50 points.

He follows up former teammate Chris Dempsey, a spring 2021 selection as a United Soccer Coaches All-American.
