Bobcats remain perfect in division play, sweep season series over PRCC

ELLISVILLE Kendyl Terrell's 23rd minute goal was all the offense the Bobcats needed on Tuesday night, shutting out Pearl River, 3-0, to sweep the season series.

Jones won its eighth consecutive game to improve to 8-1, 6-0 in the south division. They have outscored their league foes, 27-0. PRCC fell to 4-5-1 and 2-3-1.

The final shot tally was 24-4 in favor of Jones, including 14-0 on goal.

Bekah Baugh's fifth goal of the year, off a Delaney Cooley assist, made it 2-0 Bobcats at the break.

Jackie Dilorenzo capped the scoring in the 62nd minute, using a great cross from Baugh to make it 3-0.

Danae Fowler, the reigning back-to-back MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week was not tested in 66:33. Makenna Yarrow played the final 23:27 between the posts.

Jones will turn its attention to Gulf Coast on Friday, Oct. 15, a 5 p.m. kick in Perkinston. The Bobcats will play three of their final four regular season matches on the road.
