Kendyl Terrell's 23rd minute goal was all the offense the Bobcats needed on Tuesday night, shutting out Pearl River, 3-0, to sweep the season series.
Jones won its eighth consecutive game to improve to 8-1, 6-0 in the south division. They have outscored their league foes, 27-0. PRCC fell to 4-5-1 and 2-3-1.
The final shot tally was 24-4 in favor of Jones, including 14-0 on goal.
Bekah Baugh's fifth goal of the year, off a
Delaney Cooley assist, made it 2-0 Bobcats at the break.
Jackie Dilorenzo capped the scoring in the 62nd minute, using a great cross from Baugh to make it 3-0.
Danae Fowler, the reigning back-to-back MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week was not tested in 66:33.
Makenna Yarrow played the final 23:27 between the posts.
Jones will turn its attention to Gulf Coast on Friday, Oct. 15, a 5 p.m. kick in Perkinston. The Bobcats will play three of their final four regular season matches on the road.
