FULTON – No. 20 Jones College defeated Itawamba 7-2 here Friday afternoon at the Johnson-Partlow Tennis Courts.
The Bobcats are 10-2 overall and conclude the first half of MACJC play at 8-0.
The Bobcats will be in New Albany to scrimmage Blue Mountain College at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will visit East Central on Tuesday.
The Indians, 6-4, go to Mississippi Gulf Coast on Saturday.

Kwanda Mbalekwa (South Africa) beat Sergio Garcia in No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2.
Daniel Panzica (Brookhaven) rallied past Reese Duncan in No. 3 singles, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7.
Jacob Johnson (North Pike) whipped Hayden Embry in No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-2.
Trey Hilton (Pearl) downed Jacambrian Madlock in No. 5 singles, 6-3, 7-5, and
James McWilliams (Northwest Rankin) defeated Jackson Christ in No. 6 singles, 6-3, 6-3. In No. 1 singles,
Gaspar Meda (Argentina) fell to Franco Roldan, 4-6, 6-2, 5-10.
Ryan Myers (Madison Central) beat Torean King in an extra match, 8-5.
Panzica and McWilliams beat Duncan and Embry in No. 2 doubles, 8-6, and Hilton and Meda downed King and Madlock in No. 3 doubles, 8-2. Mbalekwa and Johnson dropped a 4-8 decision to Roldan and Garcia in No. 1 doubles.
