DECATUR – The No. 20 Jones College Bobcats downed No. 21 East Central here Tuesday afternoon at the East Central Community College Tennis Complex.
The Bobcats are now 11-2 and will not play again until they host Wallace St.-Hanceville (Alabama) at 1 p.m. on March 23.
East Central (7-5) visits Mississippi Gulf Coast on Friday.

Kwanda Mbalekwa (South Africa) edged Isaac Santitto in No. 2 singles, 6-3, 3-6, 11-9, and
Daniel Panzica (Brookhaven) beat Dylan Barnett in No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-1.
Trey Hilton (Pearl) downed Chris Albert in No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-2, and
James McWilliams (Northwest Rankin) defeated Dominick Donaldson In No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-2. Gasper Meda (Argentina) lost a close one to Chris Lawrence in No. 1 singles, 3-6, 7-6, 8-10, and
Jacob Johnson (North Pike) fell to Peyton Chaney in No. 4 singles, 6-1, 4-6, 6-10.
Meda and Hilton took No. 3 doubles over Donaldson and Albert, 8-3. Mbalekwa and Johnson lost No. 1 doubles to Lawrence and Santitto, 6-8, and Panzica and McWilliams fell to Barnett and Chaney in No. 2 doubles, 5-8.
