WESSON – Jones College outscored Copiah-Lincoln 20-8 over the final 6:50 and beat the Wolves 89-80 here Thursday night at Mullen Gymnasium.
The Bobcats end regular season play at 17-5 overall and 9-5 in the MACJC South Division.
Jones will be the No. 3 seed out of the South in the upcoming MACJC Tournament. The Bobcats, winners of four straight, will meet tournament host East Mississippi at 1 p.m. Monday in the opening round of the tournament.
SharDarrion Allen (Raymond) posted his 13th double-double of the season, posting 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Kenneth Rogers (Starkville) had 20 points and
Tradavis Thompson (Raymond) had 14 points.
Zachariah Malone (Shady Grove, Louisiana) pulled down 10 rebounds and
Casey Smith Jr. (Columbus) finished with nine assists.

Ladarius Anderson (Jackson Provine) started a 13-1 run with a 3-pointer to tie the game. Allen's basket in the lane capped the run and put the Bobcats up 82-73 with just 3:08 remaining.
The longest lead of the game for the Bobcats was 18-8 early in the first half after Allen canned two free throws. The Wolves battled back and tied the game at 41-41 at halftime.
Jones shot the ball well all night, making 34-of-66 from the floor for 52 percent. They were 9-of-20 from 3-point range for 45 percent and 12-of-18 from the foul line for 67 percent.
The Bobcats held a commanding 45-27 edge in rebounds and outscored Co-Lin 42-30 on points in the paint.
Demarcus Ellzey led Co-Lin with 18 points, Dayquan Perkins added 14 and Tyree Lomax had 10.
The Wolves end the season at 7-16 overall, 2-12 in division play.
