Esmeralda Figueroa netted her team-leading 12th goal of the year to break a scoreless match in the 39th minute and that's all the Bobcats would need in a 3-0 blanking of Northwest on Tuesday.
Jones posted its fifth shutout of the year in improving to 6-5 while Northwest fell to 2-8.
The Bobcats turned up the pressure in the second half to expand on a one-goal lead, scoring consecutive goals in a 1:32 span to extend the lead to 3-0.
Anna Crane scored her first of the season in the 65th minute and
Emily Riley added one in the 67th minute off an
Olivia Simpson assist.
Jones outshot Northwest 13-1 in the second half and 25-6 for the match.
Alexis Wilson stopped all three shots she faced to pick up her fifth win and second shutout of the season.
The Bobcats will continue a five-game road stretch on Friday at East Central, playing the night match at 7 p.m. and not the usual 5 p.m. kick.
